Junior Data Scientist Intern - Financial Data Clustering

Mission
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern with a passion for data science and financial markets to work on financial data clustering projects. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis and machine learning while collaborating with industry experts.
Responsibilities
- + Analyze complex data sets from financial markets (asset prices, volumes, volatility, etc.)
- + Develop clustering algorithms to identify patterns and correlations between different financial assets
- + Use unsupervised machine learning techniques to group and segment financial data
- + Visualize analysis results and present key insights
- + Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
- + Document your work and contribute to the continuous improvement of analysis processes
Requirements
- + Currently pursuing a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Quantitative Finance
- + Strong knowledge of clustering algorithms (K-means, DBSCAN, etc.) and machine learning tools (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
- + Understanding of financial markets and financial products (stocks, bonds, derivatives, etc.) is a plus
- + Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar
- + Ability to handle large data sets and use visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, etc.)
- + Self-motivated, with a strong initiative and a passion for data analysis
- + Fluent in English and French
